Monique Qureshi - 'Menopause for me came overnight, and due to a medical condition, I was not able to access hormone-based treatment. I therefore looked elsewhere and undertook a variety of trainings both information based and movement, landing on yoga to help with the core symptoms. Breath and movement are my superpower.
Yoga for menopause uses poses and techniques that are specifically feminine; breathing and mindful meditation exercises that in most women can help with hot flushes, anxiety, irritability, insomnia, fatigue, brain fog and low mood. In short helping to bring you back to yourself'
